We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Junior Embedded Systems & FPGA Engineer (all genders) to support our development team in building high-performance embedded and FPGA-based solutions for industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to grow in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of FPGA solutions using Verilog.
  • Assist in the development of software for embedded microcontrollers and Linux-based systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers on system integration tasks.
  • Participate in version control and collaborative development using Git.
  • Interpret PCB schematics for hardware / software interfacing.
  • Contribute to testing debugging and documentation of embedded systems.

Your profile

  • Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Profound experience in FPGA and embedded microcontroller programming Verilog and C.
  • Familiarity with Embedded Linux environments and Git.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C C# or Python.
  • Understanding of I2C communication PCB schematics and common development tools (e.g. Visual Studio Quartus Modelsim).
  • Familiarity with digital design Torizon OS or functional safety standards (e.g. ISO 13849) is a plus.
  • Interest in Industry 4.0 OPC-UA or agile development (e.g. Scrum).
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
