Logistics Manager – Automotive

My client, a major Tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead logistics and supply chain operations at their cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Germany, focused on interior systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound materials, internal flow, inventory control, and outbound distribution.
• Ensure Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery and material availability to support uninterrupted production.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Lead continuous improvement projects in logistics processes, warehouse management, and supply chain systems.
• Monitor and analyse key logistics KPIs to drive data-driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and planning teams to align logistics with broader operational goals.
