Position Overview :
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Key Account Management Leader to manage and grow the relationship with Volkswagen Group , one of the company’s most critical global customers. Based in Düsseldorf , the successful candidate will serve as the key liaison between VW and internal teams, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, project delivery, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Volkswagen across all business units and regions.
- Drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction through proactive account development.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers at VW.
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams (R&D, Engineering, Quality, Logistics) to support customer requirements.
- Monitor and manage commercial performance, pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements.
- Lead business planning, forecasting, and strategic alignment with Volkswagen.
- Identify new business opportunities within the VW Group and drive project acquisition.
- Ensure alignment between customer expectations and company capabilities.
- Report regularly to the Global Head of Sales on account status, pipeline, and issues.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in automotive account management , preferably with exposure to the Volkswagen Group .Proven track record of managing key OEM relationships in a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment.Deep understanding of the automotive development cycle and procurement practices.Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).Based in, or willing to relocate to, Düsseldorf , Germany.Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites and global meetings.
