Overview :

Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead thier new boutique in Hamburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader with a passion for luxury fashion, exceptional customer experiences, and operational excellence.

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring an outstanding in-store experience. You will foster a results-driven culture, where digital client engagement, in-store events, and omnichannel strategies are integral to success.

This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to developing talent, optimizing store operations, and achieving ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Store Operations & Sales Performance

  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the Area Manager.
  • Analyse store performance and implement action plans to drive business growth.
  • Develop strategic sales initiatives to maximize footfall and conversion rates.
  • Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the team, ensuring consistent performance tracking.
  • Ensure seamless execution of all store operational procedures, including inventory management, sales reporting, and in-store event planning.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to organize exclusive in-store events that enhance customer engagement.

Customer Experience & CRM

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a personalized and exceptional shopping experience.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, coaching the team to provide seamless and service-oriented client interactions.
  • Drive client outreach and digital engagement, utilizing booking services and omnichannel tools to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Ensure the store adheres to visual merchandising (VM) guidelines, creating an inviting and brand-aligned space.
  • Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring strong product knowledge and service excellence.
  • Lead team meetings and training workshops, fostering a motivated and collaborative store culture.
  • Provide continuous coaching and performance feedback, identifying growth opportunities for each team member.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, including individual development plans and appraisals.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and company guidelines, maintaining a positive and professional workplace environment.
  • Operational Excellence

  • Ensure storefront and back-of-house areas are always organized and presentable.
  • Oversee stock control, weekly inventory counts, and shrinkage management.
  • Implement best practices in till procedures, returns, claims processing, and omnichannel solutions (BOPIS, EA, BOSFS).
  • Enforce compliance with all operational and internal control procedures, ensuring store efficiency and regulatory adherence.
  • Profile

  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Commercially driven, with a strategic mindset and sales-focused approach.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze sales performance and implement actionable insights.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in a store management role, preferably in luxury or high-end retail.
  • Proven experience in developing customer relationships and leveraging digital tools for client outreach.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in hiring, training, and coaching retail teams to deliver high performance.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
