EMBL is Europes flagship life sciences organisation and one of the worlds leading research institutions. An intergovernmental organisation of 29 Member States EMBL operates sites in France Germany Italy Spain and the United Kingdom and provides life science training and service programs globally.
We are looking for a creative communicator looking to gain experience across a range of external communications with a focus on social media and multimedia content creation.
Your role
You will be based at EMBL headquarters in Heidelberg and work closely with colleagues in the EMBL Communications Department who are located across all six EMBL sites. Your communications projects will span the whole organisation.
You will create written and multimedia content to be used across a variety of channels with a focus on social media. You will also gain insight into social media monitoring and analytics assist with written and video interviews and write longer form content for the EMBL website.
We are an international friendly and supportive team with ties to scientists and professionals throughout European and global life sciences and supportive technologies.
