We're an early stage FinTech founded by an experienced founder team who built multi-million Euro startups before. With our new FinTech we are entering a regulated 100 billion Euro market, while being backed by various unicorn founders, senior industry executives and various global tier 1 VC investors.

You will get the opportunity to join a fast scaling startup as one of the first employees and you will work directly with the founders.

We are looking for a Sales Lead to join us full-time asap.

  • As the Sales Lead, you will be instrumental in scaling our customer base and fueling the Xaver's growth.
  • Your role involves a strategic blend of business development and enterprise sales, focusing on forging strong relationships with banks, insurers and brokers.
  • You will be instrumental in driving our B2B solutions with our partners, leveraging your expertise and network to establish partnerships with financial institutions across Germany and the EU.
  • Your role includes identifying and developing new business opportunities and optimizing marketing efforts to expedite our growth.

Tasks

Business Development & Growth :

  • Identify and seize new business opportunities within the financial industry to expand our customer base and increase market penetration.
  • Utilize your experience in enterprise sales and your existing network to establish new relationships with key stakeholders in banks, insurance companies, and brokerage firms to promote our products and services.
  • Enterprise Sales Strategy :

  • Develop with the team a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at large financial institutions, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and vision.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate contracts to close deals with enterprise-level clients, focusing on long-term partnerships.
  • Marketing & Sales Integration :

  • Collaborate closely with the other teams to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns, optimizing outreach and engagement with potential B2B clients.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales approaches and marketing efforts, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our go-to-market strategy.
  • Product Advocacy :

  • Act as a champion for Xaver's products and services, ensuring our value proposition is compellingly communicated to potential partners.
  • Provide feedback from the market to product development teams to help tailor our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients and their end-customers.
  • Team Development :

  • Encourage a collaborative environment that aligns with Xaver's mission and values, promoting cross-functional teamwork to achieve business objectives.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or a similar role, ideally within the financial services sector (bank, insurer, asset manager, technology provider for financial services industry, B2B fintech company).
  • Demonstrated success in enterprise sales and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in working with skilled cross-functional teams, combined with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive and strategic mindset, with a passion for innovation and agility in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • A network within financial institutions in Germany, with a track record of leveraging relationships to drive business growth is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential, with additional European languages being a plus.
