For a medium-sized and modern PFS based in Luxembourg, we are currently recruiting a Director Accounting ready to play an integral role in the development of the structure.

This PFS has built a great reputation for itself in Luxembourg and mainly assists a client base of financial companies, more specifically Soparfi, SPV and Securitization vehicles, as well as Alternative Investment Funds, in a variety of services : Accounting, Tax, Corporate governance, Compliance, Fund administration and Transfer agency.

We can describe this PFS as a very dynamic structure with people from all different backgrounds and at various stages in their career, where everyone has the opportunity to evolve in their skill set and become an expert in their field.

Your Responsibilities | Fiduciary – PFS – Luxembourg – Accountant - Accounting

As Director Accounting, you are primarily in charge of reviewing the files handled by your team members and ensuring the client satisfaction.
As it is important to work efficiently within the team, you analyze the internal processes on a regular basis and offer improvements when necessary.
You are responsible for coordinating the members of your accounting team, having all levels of experience, from junior to manager. Furthermore, you will be involved in developing your team.
You will be the main point of contact for the clients and will also still remain operational on the most complex files within the team.
You report directly to the Head Of, which is a position you can evolve to in the short / medium term, depending on your evolution in the company.

Profile and Career Path | Fiduciary – PFS – Luxembourg – Accountant - Accounting

You have 10 years of experience or more within accounting, more specifically in a fiduciary, PFS or Investment firm in Luxembourg. During this time, you have also had the opportunity to manage a team of accountants and be in charge of reviewing their work.

You have a fluent level of French , both verbally and in writing, and also have a strong command of English.

For this position, it is very important that you are able to adopt a human approach with each member of your team and personalize your approach in function of their own skills and experience.

You have obtained a higher degree in the field of Accounting or Economics, and have ideally continued to follow trainings throughout the years.
