Regional CFO – Healthcare Sector | Southern Germany | €150m Turnover | 2,500+ Employees
We are currently supporting a well-established and steadily growing provider in the healthcare and elder care sector in their search for a Regional CFO to take ownership of the financial leadership across a sizeable portfolio of approximately 35 care facilities.
Location : Southern Germany (on-site presence in small city in Bavaria required 3+ days / week)
Sector : Healthcare
Turnover : ~€150 million p.a.
Employees : ~2,500
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the regional Finance, Controlling, Procurement, and IT teams
- Oversee the preparation, audit, and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Manage the consolidation process across operating and service entities, including allocation and transfer pricing reviews
- Drive liquidity planning and financial stability
- Partner with operational management in the negotiation of key framework agreements
- Lead strategic finance projects including :
- ERP / Accounting software migration to DATEV (2025)
- Development and implementation of a robust operational controlling framework
Your Profile
10+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally with a solid academic foundation in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldsProven background in leading finance functions, ideally in mid-sized or group structuresIndustry experience in healthcare, nursing, or elder care is a strong plusHigh level of IT affinity with the ability to navigate data structures, payroll, billing, and HR systems efficientlyBusiness fluent / native-level German required (team communication primarily in German)Interested?
