Freelance AI Developer – NRW – 3-12 Month Contract

I’m supporting an innovative AI company based in North Rhine-Westphalia, on the further development of their platform. We’re seeking a highly capable Freelance AI Developer with strong, hands-on experience in LangChain, MCP-Servers, and Agentic Workflows. This role is available immediately.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of the AI platform using Python, React, and Next.js
Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes
Implement LangChain pipelines and develop agentic workflows
Work with MCP-Servers to support modular, scalable backend architecture
Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and deployment automation

Requirements & Useful Skills

Proven experience as an AI Developer, with strong skills in Python and modern web frameworks

Deep expertise in LangChain, with demonstrated experience building agentic workflows

Hands-on experience working with MCP-Servers or similar modular service frameworks

Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments

Solid experience in React and Next.js for building responsive, performant front-ends

Excellent communication in English (German is a plus)

Logistics

Location : North Rhine-Westphalia (Hybrid working, on-site collaboration preferred)

Contract : 3 Months (with extension)

Start : Immediately

Hours : Full-time (approx. 40 hours / week)

Must have PR in Germany or Right to work in Europe
