Huawei's Nuremberg Research Center is responsible for Network Energy Advanced Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning.

The Power Conversion Technology Laboratory within the Huawei's Nuremberg Research Center is responsible for Advanced Digital Power Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning, and plays an important role in the Huawei Digital Power business in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage Field, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle, and Embedded Power Supply.

Senior Engineer on Grid-Tied Inverter Control & Power System (m / f / d)

Your mission

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to define power system and grid-tied inverter control requirements, particularly for renewable energy integration.
• Engage with Grid Operators, Power Suppliers, and Energy Consumers to stay ahead of industry developments and provide insights through technical reports.
• Research state-of-the-art power system technologies and identify future trends in inverter control.
• Collaborate with standardization bodies to influence grid code changes and keep up with evolving standards for Solar PV and Energy Storage systems.
• Drive innovation by generating new ideas and securing intellectual property (IP).
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
