Your role
- Establish and curate a FAIR data repository for primary and derived data from INTeRCePT collaborators, using EMBL’s world-class IT infrastructure.
- Data import, initial QA / QC, consistency and completeness checks, documentation and metadata.
- Create necessary conditions for dataset integration, such as identifier consistency.
- Support researchers with finding, accessing and trouble-shooting data.
- Perform data uploads to public repositories, in conjunction with scientific publications, under guidance by the researchers.
- Generate interfaces for data visualization and browsing, and perform data transformations to make them suitable for machine learning / AI methods.
- Adapt and further develop open source scientific software useful for the above tasks.
- Engage with scientific data management and research software engineering in the broader scientific community internationally, e.g., by contributing open source tools and training material.
