Summary of Role

This position is for an experienced SPICE modeling engineer who will have opportunities to work closely with GF broader modeling and device teams to develop / enhance automated solutions for quality and efficiency boost in Spice model production and QA including silicon verification.

Essential Responsibilities

Develop and support automated solutions for SPICE model production of GF technologies covering digital analog SRAM RF / mmW and HV applications.

Drive standardization and automation of best practices in Spice model generation QA / validation across model organizations.

Work with modeling and fab device teams to improve automation for device characterization data analysis Model Hardware Correlation (MHC) and model scoring with quality criteria.

Work with measurement and layout teams to improve automation in modeling test chip design test plan generation and data QA across all product lines.

Collaborate with EDA vendors on simulator qualification simulation issues and simulator consistencies related to GF models.

Provide timely support to GF internal & external customers on SPICE model simulation setup simulation issue debug and special QA requirements.

Other Responsibilities

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications

Master or PhD in electrical engineering or physics

Love to create user friendly and low maintenance automation flow with clear documentation.

Strong programming skills in Python. Knowledge in shell script Rscript and Perl.

Good understanding of semiconductor device physics and process

Experience with EDA SPICE simulators such as HSPICE SPECTRE

Great team player and effective collaborator and contributor

Excellent ability to meet tight deadlines commitments and deliver customer requirements
