This strategic and hands-on role will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and process optimization to support the company’s growth and ensure financial compliance.

Your Mission

Provide strategic and operational leadership across all accounting and controlling functions.
Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team to deliver high-quality financial services.
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
Analyze financial data including balance sheets, P&L statements, and forecasts.
Own and continuously improve all accounting and controlling processes.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
Support senior leadership with financial modeling, cash flow planning, and funding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable / receivable, and cost accounting.

Manage annual budgeting and financial planning cycles.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.

Monitor internal controls and ensure SOX compliance where applicable.

Oversee cash flow forecasting, fund transfers, and liquidity management.

Ensure compliance with German GAAP (HGB), IFRS, and all local tax / VAT obligations.

Collaborate with external auditors and prepare for audits.

Serve as a finance business partner to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Continuously optimize ERP usage (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).

Lead finance-related projects and stay current on relevant regulatory changes.

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Controlling, or Finance.

Fluent in both German and English (Mandarin a plus).

Expert knowledge of HGB and IFRS.

Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.

SOX compliance experience is a plus.

Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Solid knowledge of cost accounting and reporting in a production environment.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
