About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced SAP BDC / Datasphere Developer to design and implement seamless, secure, and scalable data integrations between SAP Datasphere (including SAP Business Data Connectivity) and Snowflake .

You will play a key role in modernizing our data infrastructure, enabling governed, real-time, and virtualized access to SAP data within our Snowflake environment. This is a highly cross-functional role with impact across architecture, engineering, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build data pipelines to extract and virtualize data from SAP systems (e.g., S / 4HANA, BW / 4HANA) into Snowflake via SAP Datasphere .
Configure and manage SAP BTP connectivity , including SAP BDC layers, OData APIs, and remote access configurations.
Work with Snowflake engineers to ensure proper mapping, transformation, and performance optimization of SAP-sourced data.
Apply best practices for data modeling, lineage, and security , ensuring governance and compliance.
Partner with enterprise architects, data analysts, and business users to deliver trusted data products.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere , SAP BDC , and SAP BTP .

Proven track record of integrating SAP data with Snowflake , using connectors, APIs, or virtualization techniques.

Strong skills in SQL , data modeling (e.g., Calculation Views), and metadata management.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Snowflake architecture .

Knowledge of data governance , access controls, and semantic layer design.
