About the Role : Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join their Medical Affairs team in North Germany. The Senior MSL will serve as a key scientific expert, engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders to provide scientific and medical insights, and enhance disease awareness.
Responsibilities :
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and scientific leaders in the Rare Disease / Neurology / Oncology field.
- Provide scientific and clinical support to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring the accurate dissemination of medical and product-related information.
- Serve as a key resource for up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge in Rare Disease / Neurology / Oncology.
- Conduct scientific presentations and discussions at medical meetings, advisory boards, and conferences.
- Gather and analyze insights from HCPs to inform internal strategy and improve patient care.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all activities.
Qualifications :
Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) is required.5+ years experience as an MSL is necessary.Background in Rare Disease / Neurology / Oncology is a bonus.Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech company is required; experience in an oncology biopharma is a plus.Experience in engaging with HCPs, KOLs, and scientific communities.Experience working in a small, growing company is a plus, demonstrating adaptability and a hands-on approach.Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data effectively.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English.Willingness to travel extensively within North Germany.Location : The role is to cover the North of Germany and will be field based.
