Job Description : DevOps & Infrastructure Developer (ECHO)

Position Details

End Date : June 2, 2026 (maximum 24 months)

Working Hours : 40 hours / week

Remote Work : Up to 60% possible

Location : Berlin

NfD Briefing Required : Yes

Security Clearance : Not required

Languages :

German : Fluent (C1)
English : Basic

Responsibilities

Work in an agile development team and support the entire software development lifecycle, including CI / CD and release management for secure communications products in the field of tactical radio communication

Write code and scripts to automate the release build process

Take responsibility for assigned work packages (within the Scrum team), including time and cost commitments

Collaborate with other development teams and support them with CI / CD

Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing and improvement

Stay up to date with technology trends and proactively contribute ideas to solutions

Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar

Several years of professional experience in software development and DevOps

Solid knowledge in Linux system administration

Fast comprehension of complex topics and strong interest in new technologies

Team-oriented mindset and willingness to share knowledge

Ideally experience with : C / C++, Python, Rust, GCC, Unix / Linux, Ethernet, GIT, Jenkins, Docker, CI / CD

Fluent in German, basic English skills
