Your Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the Accounting and Controlling divisions
  • Management and development of the General Ledger Group Accounting Credit Management and Controlling divisions (approx. 23 employees)
  • Ensuring the timely preparation of the monthly quarterly and annual financial statements as well as the consolidated financial statements
  • Planning implementation and control of budgets and forecasts including deviation analyses
  • Taking over annual planning and cost accounting
  • Central contact for auditors tax advisors banks and first point of contact for the Group management
  • Establishing and ensuring the implementation of current accounting and tax regulations providing active advice and support to the team leaders / teams on accounting issues
  • Continuous development of the Finance and Controlling teams

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in economics (ideally with a focus on accounting) or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in group accounting preferably with experience in auditing
  • Proficiency in the German Commercial Code (HGB) (individual and consolidated financial statements)
  • Leadership experience is advantageous
  • Fluent in German and English both written and spoken
  • Hands-on mentality as well as a structured and independent way of working
  • High level of social competence ability to work in a team and good communication skills for complex issues
