About the Role

As our Founders Associate, you'll be a key enabler for our leadership team, acting as a crucial problem-solver and operational backbone. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) where you'll tackle a diverse range of tasks, constantly adapting to the most pressing needs of the company and its founders.

Your responsibilities will encompass the wide-ranging duties typical of a Founders Associate, including but not limited to :

  • Strategic Research & Analysis : Conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence : Streamlining internal processes, managing administrative workflows, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across various departments. This includes tasks from managing invoices and supporting bookkeeping to optimizing internal tools.
  • Project Management & Execution : Leading and supporting diverse projects from conception to completion, often across cross-functional teams, to drive key company initiatives.
  • Financial Support : Assisting with financial processes, budget tracking, payroll support, and preparing financial reports.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management : Drafting, refining, and managing internal and external communications, preparing presentations for investors and partners, and handling sensitive correspondence (e.g., with tax authorities).
  • Talent & HR Support : Assisting with recruitment processes, onboarding new team members, and supporting HR-related administrative tasks.
  • Ad-Hoc Problem Solving : Tackling urgent and varied challenges as they arise, requiring quick thinking, resourcefulness, and a solutions-oriented approach.

What You Bring

  • Academic Excellence : You hold a Master's degree in a business-related field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management) or are expecting to complete it within the next few weeks. Strong academic performance is highly valued.
  • Professional Background : You are either a high-potential graduate with significant internship experience in a startup, consulting, or an analytical role, or a junior professional with up to 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Fluent German Speaker : Essential for handling correspondence and communications with German authorities and partners.
  • Highly Fluent in English (Business Level) : Critical for daily interactions and documentation within our international environment.
  • Startup Mindset : You're comfortable with ambiguity, a self-starter, highly adaptable, and eager to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills : You have a proven ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions.
  • Outstanding Organizational Skills : You're adept at multitasking, prioritizing effectively, and paying meticulous attention to detail.
  • Tech-Savvy : Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace, and able to quickly learn new software tools.
  • Immediate Availability : You are able to start right away.
  • Work Eligibility : You are eligible to work in Germany.
  • Location : You must be based in Germany for this role but the role is remote.

    Salary

    The annual gross salary for this position ranges from €45,000 to €65,000 , depending on your qualifications and experience.
