As a Senior Category Manager you will be responsible for driving and developing the assortment for your categories. You will own the category strategy, identifying major growth opportunities to bring your categories to the next level. You will work closely with our Buying teams and other key sales functions, like Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Marketing. This position is permanent and based in Munich .
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- own and grow your categories in terms of sales and profitability with an entrepreneurial attitude
- identify sales, merchandising, and operational opportunities for your categories and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Buying, Supply Chain, Onsite Merchandising, and Marketing) to drive performance
- build a unique and inspiring product portfolio for the Westwing customer in collaboration with the Buying teams
- screen the market and discover trends early on to offer our customers always an exciting and fresh product selection
- develop and execute optimal category strategies, analysing the market and identifying next growth opportunities
- select a best-in-class product assortment for current and future premium brands
YOU COME WITH
4+ years of professional experience in similar positions in e-commerce / retailvery good sense for trends, creativity, and passion for home & living, along with knowledge of home & living categories as a plusa can-do mindset, an out-of-the-box way of thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentstrong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on attitude and a focus on fast executionstrong communication skills to clearly communicate with different stakeholdersfluency in English, any other European language is a plusWHY WESTWING
