SAP FICO Functional Consultant

About the Role :

Our client, a manufacturing leader with global operations, is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join their team. Renowned for their sustainability initiatives and forward-thinking manufacturing processes, they are undergoing a major IT transformation. This includes consolidating legacy systems, harmonizing global processes, and standardizing their ERP landscape.

This role is integral to delivering a streamlined, global SAP FICO solution as part of their business-critical digital journey.

What You’ll Do :

  • Serve as the internal SAP FICO Functional Consultant, supporting both Financial Accounting and Controlling modules.
  • Understand and analyze current SAP processes to support enhancements and optimize performance.
  • Manage incident tickets and change requests; configure and customize solutions within SAP FICO (especially FI : GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting; and CO : Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers, etc.).
  • Play a key role in global SAP S / 4HANA roll-out projects.
  • Contribute to the development of a standardized global SAP template.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful integration of SAP FICO with other business areas.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and end-user training as needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO in a functional consulting or analyst role.
  • Experience in SAP S / 4HANA environments is strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP FI (including GL, AR, AP, AA) and integration with SAP CO (cost centers, profitability analysis, etc.).
  • Proven ability to gather requirements, perform configurations, test solutions, and support end-users.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluency in English is and German proficiency (B1 / B2 level) is required
