Technical Lead Java Backend Developer (m / f / d)

  • You will work in a cross-functional team with current and future-oriented technologies
  • You are motivated and passionate about solving technical problems based on business requirements
  • You design, implement and refine the existing architecture in our AWS-based Kubernetes environment
  • You are part of a team that rebuilds and further develops large parts of our publishing platform in a new project
  • You influence the German digital press landscape with your work as part of one of the top 5 publishers with 300 million visits per month

    • What you bring with you :

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in software development in Java and Java EE environments
  • You have sound experience with CDI-based frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus
  • You are familiar with distributed microservice architectures and corresponding API design
  • You know how to use technologies such as Kafka, Elasticsearch, Micrometer, Grafana, REST APIs, GraphQL, OpenAPI and Kubernetes in a targeted manner
  • You have experience with unit and integration testing, for example with JUnit 5, Mockito, AssertJ, RestAssured, Testcontainers, JaCoCo
  • You enjoy sharing your extensive knowledge with other colleagues and coaching junior developers
  • You speak very good German and English
