Your mission

You will

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities primarily focusing on BESS applications targeting energy storage providers utility companies OEMs EV manufacturers and battery lifecycle partners (secondlife and recycling) while leveraging expertise in utilityscale storage solutions and grid integration.
  • Support managing the sales cycle and hold responsibility for your assigned clients and target Industry.
  • Identify and evaluate growth potentials and technology trends in the battery industry the Second Life market the recycling industry and other relevant industries.
  • Create reports and sales presentations to support the growth of commercial and partnership stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain an accurate customer intelligence base for future product development.
  • Conducted and drove relevant market and competitive intelligence closely aligned with the head of sales and the team.
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop and execute strategic campaigns.
  • Provide market feedback to the Product Manager Designer and Tech Team to improve the Circunomics products and services.
  • Representation of Circunomics and active participation at trade shows conferences client meetings and in industrial and academic networks.

Your profile

  • Bachelors degree in engineering MBA sales or equivalent in experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and executing automotive business accounts and selling highend technology solutions.
  • Proven experience working with energy / automotive and / or battery players : Mobility OEMs tier1s system integrators EV players Energy storage Companies Recyclers or within the Second Life Market of LithiumIon Batteries.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and achieving ambitious targets.
  • Proactive and handson approach to challenges and gettingthingsdone perspective.
  • Excellent communication skills in the English and German language.
  • Bonus points for

  • Experience in Green Tech startups IoT or Energy is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in acquiring and managing key accounts.
  • Technical understanding is a plus
  • Interest in Automotive / Cars / Electric Vehicle is a Plus

    Circunomics GmbH based in Mainz Germany was founded in 2019. Circunomics is leading the industry by offering a comprehensive battery lifecycle management solution. CoFounders Felix Wagner and Jan Born are dedicated to establishing a true circular battery economy which in turn maximizes each stage of battery life. Along with their team they seek to inspire the movement of batteries from the automotive industry to the energy sector and finally on to recyclers who close the loop by recovering any remaining raw materials.

    Circunomics has developed an AIpowered B2B marketplace where cells modules and packs can be sold and purchased. Through the Circunomics Analytics product sellers and buyers alike can obtain a detailed view of their assets. From current SoH to 2ndlife simulation this product allows for a simpler and more profitable lifecycle management. Circunomics knows that lifecycle planning is complex and the Battery Matchmakers are on a mission to help ease this process for their customers.

    The company has been supported thus far by seed investors and business angels. Startup builder Next Mobility Labs recycler TES Orlen VC and Dr. Peter Mertens (former Chief Technology Officer of Audi) are some of the key players. The Series A funding round was completed in December of 2024 with the addition of investors Schaeffler and GET Fund.

    Official expansion into the US Market transpired in January of 2025 with the hiring of Adam Willmouth who will serve as the companys US Managing Director. Circunomics looks forward to further collaboration with current US clients and to further growth within this key global market.
