The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Your challenges

You ensure compliance with customer and company quality standards while supporting the Back Office for the project
You will work on the project lifecycle, monitoring milestones, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring adherence to internal and external standards regarding quality aspects
You will get involved in supporting the project team in quality matters and escalating critical roadblocks when necessary.
You will Detect risks and Prevent problems from Cradle to Grave
You will Prepare initial samples according to internal and external standards
You will Set and Monitor the Quality Roadmap for the project to reach the Quality (Customer and VALEO) and cost targets

Profile

You are graduated from a Master degree in Quality or in mechanical engineering / a related field like engineering economics

You already have experience in this field (ideally)

An advantage would be a basic knowledge of Quality Core tools e.g. process capabilities or statistics in general

You have a fluent level of English

You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
