Supplier Developer (M / F / D)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supplier Developer to join our team and support a key client in the automotive sector. This role focuses on the development and management of suppliers specialising in castings and mechanical components , ensuring quality, delivery, and performance standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and a deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development activities for castings and mechanical components, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
• Implement and manage APQP processes across the supplier base, from concept through to production.
• Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and procurement to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Support suppliers in continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Facilitate technical reviews and support PPAP submissions.
