Working student robotics software engineering (m / f / d)

At Pixel Robotics, we are developing a new generation of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), such as our PIXEL PT. Our award-winning approach combines AI-based localization and navigation technologies with innovative hardware designs to create highly reliable and efficient robotic systems.

Tasks

• Develop and implement software and algorithms for autonomous mobile robots, focusing on localization, navigation, and perception.
• Test and validate new features in both simulation environments and real-world robot deployments.
• Optimize code performance , improving efficiency, reducing computational overhead, and ensuring real-time responsiveness.
• Conduct research and analysis on emerging robotics algorithms, evaluating their feasibility and impact on system performance.
• Support system integration and deployment , assisting in testing and troubleshooting robots at customer sites.
• Manage documentation and knowledge sharing , including organizing code repositories, maintaining technical reports, and creating user manuals to support internal teams and customers.
