Quality Assurance Manager

g2 Recruitment is working with a client that require a freelance QA / QC Manager to support ongoing and upcoming industrial projects in Germany.

The role will involve leading QA / QC activities on construction and mechanical installations for oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy transition facilities, ensuring strict compliance with industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Plans in alignment with QA / QC framework
• Oversee all quality control activities for fabrication, welding, NDT, installation, and commissioning phases
• Coordinate and supervise QA / QC inspectors, subcontractors, and third-party auditors
• Ensure traceability and documentation of all quality records and material certifications
• Conduct internal audits and facilitate external inspections (client or regulatory bodies)
• Lead root cause analysis of non-conformities and implement corrective actions
• Report regularly to project management and client QA / QC teams
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, EN / ASME / ISO standards, and clients internal QHSE systems
• Support the continuous improvement of quality processes across the project
