The IVZ is a cooperative community of public, legal broadcasting organizations. The IT Services department operates on-premise IT systems on various platforms such as Linux and Windows, virtualization and database systems, which form the basis for broadcasting applications. The operation takes place in our own data centers, as well as in parts with various cloud providers.

The IVZ
We are the internal IT service provider of ARD, i.e. all ARD broadcasters, Deutschlandradio and DW under the leadership of rbb, and provide central IT services at the locations of the state broadcasters and Deutschlandradio.
Potsdam or Cologne is the preferred place of work, but it is also possible to work at one of our IVZ locations in Leipzig, Hamburg, Munich or Frankfurt at one of the state broadcasters.
