In this role you will play a key part in driving our companys growth by identifying new business opportunities fostering customer relationships and contributing to the overall success of our Specialty Chemicals team across Germany and Austria.

General Responsibilities

  • Sales and budget responsibility for selected markets in the region
  • Responsible for growing sales in Germany & Austria through prospecting and developing new potential accounts with a focus on business development and expansion
  • Manage all commercial interactions with customers including forecasts sales planning individual purchases supply contracts and price negotiations
  • Visit customers on a regular basis to build maintain and manage relationships
  • Build and maintain relationships with our suppliers based in Asia and Europe through joint visits and regular reporting to support mutual growth of our joint businesses
  • Conduct competitor mapping market surveys and innovation scouting. Stay ahead of regulatory trends and changes that impact the industry

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven technical sales experience of specialty raw materials for the chemical industry in Germany & Austria
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Austria
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong customer and service orientation and proven track record in developing and winning new businesses
  • Pragmatic and entrepreneurial approach self-driven
  • Resilient flexible and team-oriented personality
