As a core member of the Global Commercial Operations team the Global Technical Client Project Manager acts as a bridge between global and regional sales teams and our laboratory teams worldwide. In this role you will
- Act as liaison between our strategic clients and our global laboratory network
- Prepare and execute project plans for the contracted services in close partnership with global and regional sales teams
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Act as project manager for specifically assigned global client testing programs
Primary Responsibilities :
1. Client Management & Communication
Support clients on scientific and technical questions related to the service execution by SGS Pharma laboratory network :
Identify appropriate location(s) to execute the work and confirm capacity and capabilitiesEnsure clients understand and agree with SGS technical approach to the contracted workMaintain bestinclass communication between clients and the SGS Pharma laboratory networkProvide feedback / explanations to address any concern from clients colleagues and stakeholders2. Project Management & Coordination
Prepare project plans support or directly manage (multisite multiregion) client projectsParticipate in project kickoff as Technical Client support (i.e. act as the voice of the customer )For specifically assigned global client testing programs act as Project Manager / Technical Liaison during full execution of the workEscalate to Global and Regional Operations Management any issues with capacity and capability that may endanger the clients projects3. Business Development Support
During technical interactions with clients identify new business development opportunities (further clients needs) and feedback insights to Business Development TeamsKeep abreast of latest technical and regulatory developments impacting the industry and feedback strategic insights to Business Development Teams4. Governance & Compliance Oversight
Ensure all necessary information is obtained from clients to prepare accurate RFI / RFP / Work OrdersMonitor any regulatory issues that may impact the work and ensure these are duly communicated to both clients and our global laboratory networkQualifications :
Degree in Pharmacy Biotechnology Biology Chemistry or related scientific field510 years experience working as Scientist in a lab environment or alternatively PhD holder with 35 years experience in the Pharmaceutical IndustryMinimum 3 years experience in a customerfacing client service positionExperience in Pharma CMC analytical testing analysisExperience in global project management (as e.g. Study Director Senior Scientist or Client Technical Manager)Ability to convey scientific and technical explanations in a concise and comprehensible mannerStrong communication negotiation and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively across decentralized TeamsEnsures full compliance with SGS Health & Safety Code of Integrity Professional Conduct PoliciesAdditional Information :
