We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer (f / m / d) to join our AI Automation team. In this role you will be instrumental in building and deploying cuttingedge AIdriven automation solutions across BMGs application stack. You will leverage your fullstack expertise to develop and enhance usercentric interfaces and robust scalable backend systems that power our AI initiatives.

As a key member of our IT team you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle working with the newest technologies in a cloudnative environment. What youll be doing

Design and develop endtoend AI automation solutions encompassing both intuitive frontend user interfaces and scalable cloudnative backend systems.
Translate user journeys into functional and visually appealing frontend components with a focus on React and modern UI frameworks that can be integrated into existing applications or work as standalone applications.
Work alongside and guide external engineers and product development teams to make changes required to expand automation and guide successful AI integrations.
Build and maintain robust backend services utilizing modern technologies such as Fast API and NodeJS in a Kubernetes (K8S) environment.
Work with databases like Postgres and MySQL but also Data Warehouses like BigQuery to ensure efficient data management and seamless integration within AI automation workflows.
Embrace and implement cloud native technologies and architectural patterns to drive innovation and maintain a cuttingedge technology stack.
Ensure the performance reliability and security of all software components adhering to best practices for software development and cloud deployment.
Collaborate closely with product managers ML engineers and DevOps engineers to deliver highquality impactful AI automation solutions.

What you bring

5 years of professional experience as a FullStack Software Engineer with a focus on both frontend and backend development in cloudnative environments.

Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Proven expertise in frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks particularly React with a strong understanding of user journeys and componentbased architecture.

Strong backend development skills with experience in NodeJS GraphQL FastAPI or similar modern technologies and a solid understanding of building scalable APIs.

Handson experience with containerization and orchestration technologies specifically Kubernetes (K8S) and cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud).

Solid understanding of database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL) and experience in designing and implementing efficient data models.

Passion for exploring and implementing the latest technologies and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in agile teams with strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience with AI / ML related projects or a strong interest in learning about AI technologies and Agentic Systems is a plus.
