As a Trade Marketing Manager DACH, you will play a key leadership role within the Commercial Team at Knuspr.de . You will be responsible for driving strategic trade marketing initiatives and sales enablement across Germany and Austria. Operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment, your role includes developing trade catalogues and offers, handling funding and claims, negotiating with vendors, and owning trade marketing KPIs. You will lead with empathy, structure, and strategic direction while closely collaborating within the commercial, finance and sales community.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Marketing Strategy and Execution (Think Big, Deliver Results) :
Develop and implement strategic trade marketing initiatives across DACH to drive sales and customer engagement.
Lead the creation of trade marketing catalogues and promotional offers.
Handle immediate funding requests and align them with sales strategy.
Financial Operations & Claim Handling (Dive Deep, Radical Transparency) :
Oversee invoice and claim processes in tight coordination with the Finance team.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial dealings related to trade marketing.
Vendor Management and Negotiation (Create Partnerships) :
Manage key vendor relationships, leading negotiations to maximize mutual value.
Ensure alignment with brand strategies and sales objectives.
Sales Enablement & Performance (Amaze the Customer, Deliver Impact) :
Support sales teams in selling new placements and campaigns effectively.
Drive incremental sales through optimized trade activities and promotions.
KPI Management and Reporting (Be Curious, Keep Learning) :
Define, track, and report on Trade Marketing KPIs and ecommerce performance metrics.
Lead internal and external performance reporting for trade initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or equivalent educational background.
5+ years in trade marketing, sales, vendor management, or retail marketing within a high-paced environment. Previous leadership experience is a must.
