Cloud Security Architect – Financial Services
We’re looking for a seasoned Cloud Security Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a strong understanding of the financial services industry . In this role, you’ll design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant cloud architectures for banks, insurers, and capital markets clients—leveraging Zero Trust principles , DevSecOps , and GCP-native security services .
Key Responsibilities
- Architect secure cloud environments for financial services clients using GCP best practices
- Design and implement Zero Trust Architecture , IAM strategies, and secure networking models
- Advise on data protection , encryption, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FCA, GDPR)
- Conduct security assessments , threat modeling, and risk mitigation for cloud-native and hybrid systems
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, risk officers, and compliance teams
- Lead technical workshops and architecture reviews with CISO-level stakeholders
- Develop reusable security blueprints and reference architectures for regulated environments
Required Qualifications
10+ years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in cloud security architecture5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP security services (IAM, VPC SC, Cloud Armor, SCC, KMS)Strong background in financial services (banking, insurance, capital markets)Proven experience with Zero Trust , DevSecOps, and CI / CD security integrationProficiency in scripting (Python, Go, Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform)Deep understanding of network security , monitoring, and compliance frameworks (NIST, MITRE, OWASP)Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fieldPreferred Qualifications
