The Company :

A lean, agile, and fast-growing international Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) developer with a strong focus on straightforward, effective project execution. With a proven pipeline and a commitment to developing and delivering projects, they are now strengthening their German team to drive further growth.

The Role :

As Head of Project Development Germany, you will be entrusted with leading the expansion and establishment of new and existing BESS projects; whilst being responsible for building and managing a high-performing team to success.

Some duties would include :

• Drive the full lifecycle of battery energy storage projects - from site identification to commissioning.
• Lead and grow a high-performing development team, managing priorities, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate closely with municipalities, councils, grid operators (DSO / TSO), and technology providers to ensure smooth project development.
• Oversee permitting, grid connection, and regulatory processes while maintaining control of project timelines and budgets.
• Set vision and 3-5 year strategy of the business plans in the German market - with a clear path to progress into a Country Manager role within 2–5 years.
