DevOps Engineer - Cloud-Native, Kubernetes, Terraform - Berlin - 80k

We’re looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to strengthen our team and help advance digital transformation through modern, cloud-native technologies.

Your Role

  • Take an active role in customer projects, primarily in the public sector
  • Automate, monitor, and optimize infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure IT operations
  • Develop and maintain robust CI / CD pipelines for efficient software deployment
  • Ensure production and development environments are stable, secure, and high-performing
  • Use modern monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to oversee infrastructure health
  • Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps principles throughout the software lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance
  • Contribute to platform engineering and support GitOps practices

Your Profile

  • A degree in IT or completed training with relevant experience in IT operations
  • Practical experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes , OpenShift ) and / or infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform , Ansible )
  • Solid knowledge of cloud-native applications and cloud computing
  • Experience with monitoring / logging tools (e.g., Prometheus , Grafana )
  • Proficiency in Linux systems and scripting (e.g., PowerShell , Python )
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins , GitLab , and Argo CD
  • Understanding of GitOps workflows and platform engineering practices
  • Experience with VMware infrastructure and general hardware support is a plus
  • Fluent in German, with good English skills
