The Professorship of Digital Health at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg invites applications for a fully funded PhD position (TV-L E13, 100%) at the intersection of computational neuroscience and artificial intelligence (AI).
Ihre Aufgaben
The doctoral candidate will develop AI-driven methods for digital phenotyping based on ubiquitous sensor data to continuously track behavioral and physiological changes in individuals. These insights will be integrated with neuroimaging-informed, patient-specific computational models to inform steerable neurostimulation strategies. The goal is to optimize stimulation parameters across the longitudinal therapeutic journey of the patient, enabling personalized and responsive therapy for neurological and psychiatric disorders.
