We are looking for an experienced HL7 / FHIR Interface Developer to support the integration and optimization of clinical IT systems within a leading healthcare organization. In this fully remote freelance role, you will contribute to crucial interoperability projects aimed at enhancing healthcare data exchange.

Your Responsibilities :

Develop, adapt, and optimize HL7 (v2 / v3) and FHIR interfaces for clinical systems
Integrate medical applications and systems across various platforms
Design and implement interoperability solutions to streamline healthcare data exchange
Analyze and document interface requirements in close collaboration with IT and clinical departments
Perform testing and quality assurance of HL7 and FHIR interfaces
Maintain technical documentation of interfaces and integration workflows

Your Profile

Proven experience with HL7 (v2 / v3) and FHIR standards

Strong knowledge of interface technologies and integration frameworks

Solid programming skills in Java

Experience working with SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases

Understanding of clinical workflows and IT systems used in healthcare environments

Fluency in German is mandatory; English proficiency is also needed
