YOUR ROLE

You will be responsible for building reliable and scalable data infrastructure that enables organizations to derive meaningful insights, make data-driven decisions, and unlock the value of their data assets.

• Analyze existing pipelines, data models, and workloads to identify challenges and dependencies
• Development of pipelines and data flows in Azure Synapse Analytics
• Construction of the Data Foundation repository (clients, portfolios, positions, transactions)
• Manual documentation of technical data lineage in Collibra
• Possible interaction with Microsoft Purview for metadata extraction
• Migrate data models, SQL pools, data lakes, and pipelines to Fabric with minimal disruption to the business, develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy
• Ensure that ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows are properly re-engineered or migrated to Fabric
• Work with data scientists, analysts, and business intelligence teams to ensure smooth transition of data workloads
• Document migration processes, configurations, and architectures for future reference and troubleshooting
