Fund Accountant - PE / RE

One of my clients – a dynamic and international player in the fund industry – is looking to expand its accounting team with the recruitment of a motivated and detail-driven Fund Accountant .

Job description :

As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations for a portfolio of client entities. Your main duties will include :

Handling general accounting tasks and maintaining accurate financial records

Performing in-depth reviews of cash accounting and monthly / quarterly accruals

Preparing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies efficiently

Drafting interim and annual financial statements in line with applicable standards

Monitoring bank reconciliations and investigating any unmatched items

Ensuring timely delivery of financial reports and supporting audits

Collaborating with external stakeholders (auditors, legal advisors) in a professional manner

Supporting team members while managing your own workload autonomously

Profile :

You are someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes initiative, and enjoys working as part of a team. We’re looking for someone who brings :

A solid academic background in accounting, finance or economics

Progress towards a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA ) is a strong plus

2–4 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or a similar role

Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach

The ability to manage responsibilities independently, with a sharp eye for detail

Fluency in English , and any additional language is an asset (German, French, etc.)
