We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Machining Specialist to join our Group Technology function. Baettr has 2 Machining sites in Lem Denmark and Tianjin in China. In addition, we have several machining service providers in Denmark, China and in India. As our new Machining Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Group Technology function supporting our 2 machining sites and our Sourcing Function with technical expertise and knowledge sharing. The key objectives in your work will be to implement new products on time and with the right quality. This will be combined with continuous improvements to routing hours, production equipment utilization and costs. Your base will be in Lem Denmark and there will be opportunities to travel.
Your main responsibilities
The Machining Specialist is responsible for the following :
- To develop the machining process to produce customer components.
- To have direct customer contact and fully understand requirements and support our customers in design optimization to give lower production costs.
- To develop both machining tools and CNC programs and verify them through 3D simulation.
- To implement items in cooperation with Site colleagues.
- To optimize the production processes by introducing new and improved methods and tools or by optimizing the CNC programs.
