The Discovery Account Manager (North-West Germany) is responsible for customer relationship across the account.Primary contact between the company and customers and grows thebusiness through an understanding of the market, an awareness andfamiliarity with the needs of customer, and knowledge of theproduct portfolio.
Thisposition reports to the Discovery AM Zone Leader and is part of theDiscovery & Medical OpCo located in Germany and will be fullyremote.
Whatyou will do :
- RepresentCytiva and function as a primary customer point of contact in allallocated accounts and in the territory for Discovery customersegments.
- Expand the business, gain marketshare, and grow sales & order at expected margins. Achieveannual / quarterly targets through successful promotion of allbusiness technologies and capabilities within all modalities whichare relevant to this account.
- Provide technicalsupport, leveraging technical specialists where needed, alignedwith customer workflows and activities to develop, and supportsolutions that meet or exceed the customers’expectations.
- Identify opportunities andsupport team in developingopportunities.
- Develop and maintain a fullunderstanding of the Cytiva value proposition and a high-levelknowledge of competitive products andservices.
- Prospecting, forecasting, generatingproposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planningcustomer visits at all levels of the customerorganization.
- Negotiating master agreements andcontracts, including terms and conditions as well as facilitatingtender responses to customers from the account, in conjunction withproduct sales specialists asneeded.
