There is never a dull moment with us.Group / DivisionThe Customer Engagement (CE) team is our field based, customer facing organization consisting of Technical Engagement Managers and Application Engineers. The team partners closely with our customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products, software, and expertise, to help customers manage yield throughout their fabrication process—from research and development to final volume production. Responsibilities of this group include maintaining strategic client relationships, partnering with our sales team in identifying and closing sales opportunities, ensuring our products meet performance capabilities & expectations, providing critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collecting requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology trends. Partnering with our sales organization and factory divisions, this diverse and dynamic team helps ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.Job Description / Preferred QualificationsWe are looking for a Technical Engagement Manager within the European Business Unit, based in Dresden Germany, or Grenoble France, to lead our Application Engineer team and drive projects and strategical engagement at our European Customers for Unpattern Wafer Inspection Division.TEM Role and Responsibilities include : Leads the CE Apps Team for Unpattern inspection and wafer geometry product lines.Defines and executes customer specific product penetration, positioning, and market share strategies.Develops relationships with key customer technical buying influences.Deep understanding of leading-edge such as specialty and WBG process and inspection technology.Drives collaboration projects, eval, H2H, ramp support etc. to deliver differentiated product value, ensure continued product learning and solve customer issues.Strong understanding of the customer sales cycle and process. Jointly develops sales strategies in collaboration with account managers and Tech. Dir.Knowledge and application of KLA sales processes (Value / People, SPIN, etc).Deliver effective technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.Coordinates resource plan and technical / application gap escalation.Mentor and coach engineers and motivate team members.Selects, develops, and evaluates the personnel to build a strong app team.Essential Skills : Solid Knowledge of Semiconductor Process and Inspection technology, data analysis and statistical process controlPrevious customer / industry experience is desired.Excellent presentation and communication skillsProject management experience - Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.Have creative thinking approach to deal with new customer challenges.Excellent problem-solving skills.Leadership skills : ability to create a strong team. Key challenges that must be addressed in this position?The position offers the opportunity to manage Application Eng team, drive strategical projects at all major European KLA customer, help to introduce New Products and technology to solve customer problems, support KLA share. Frequent travel (50-75%) across BU are required.
