The Centre of Competence Best Estimates &Pricing is responsible to provide a sustainable framework forcustomer tailored profitable pricings for Life and Healthreinsurance business in Europe, Israel and Latin America. Thisincludes risk adequate assumptions, advanced pricing and monitoringstandards and cutting-edge tools supporting the pricing process(pricing landscape). In addition we support market pricing unitswith tailor-made reinsurance pricings, product development andfurther reinsurance services.

We excel in keepingactuarial assumptions and methods for life and health insuranceup-to-date. We leverage our close cooperation with experts onmarkets, risk management, data and medical science as well as withour international colleagues within Munich Re’s global Life andHealth units.

We provide the market teams with state ofthe art infrastructure and standards for quantitative andqualitative assessments of R / I Pricings for new businessopportunities and monitoring of our inforce portfolio. We are thusensuring essential support for our successful business developmentand quality assurance of our reinsuranceportfolio.

We are looking for a Senior PricingActuary (m / f / d)

to lead the team for the development andmaintenance of our Pricing Tools.

YourJob

Support team strategydevelopment for your area of responsibility, Pricing Tooldevelopment and R / I Pricing methodology

Take anactive and organizing role in the delivery processes consisting ofrequirements discovery, solution design, user story writing,feature development, user acceptance testing, sign-off proceduresand deployment

Cooperate with subject matterexperts in pricing to identify key capabilities required as well aspotential risks & issues and support the implementation ofmeasures required

Further elaborate pricing andrisk management infrastructure and establish and / or improveprocesses in cooperation with interfaces, i.e. IT, client pricingunits and / or internal expertnetworks

Structuring and modelling ofreinsurance contracts and performing stochastic reinsurancepricings in order to support businessdecisions

Drive or participate in agileprojects and initiatives supporting our businessstrategy

Consulting and training of colleaguesand cedents

Close collaboration with clientpricing and business units, as well as with central units IT,Corporate Underwriting andValuation

YourProfile

Very good degree inmathematics, actuarial science or comparable qualification,membership in the DAV or a comparable foreign Association ofActuaries

Profound working experience inprimary insurance or reinsurance in the areas ofpricing

Comprehensive experience in developmentwith C#, JAVA or similar and with SQL databases and / ordevelopment

Knowledge of Azure DevOps andPowerShell

Good knowledge of insurancemodelling software AXIS, Prophet orsimilar

Excellent analytical skills and abilityto comprehend complex actuarial issues and explain toothers

Strong creativity and ability to developnew solutions / concepts

High degree ofentrepreneurial attitude, customer orientation, responsibility andmotivation

Very good presentation and trainerskills

Fluent in written and spoken English,basic command of German required; good command of Spanish is ofadvantage
