The role

The role of the Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) is as a participant facing representative of the Australian Epilepsy Project (AEP) central team within the Florey. CTA is primarily responsible for the collection and management of cognitive / psychological data in the AEP completing multiple assessments per week (epilepsy and control participants). They would also complete the necessary screening and recruitment procedures telephone / videoconference interviews and review participant questionnaires and diaries throughout participants 24month followup period. They would also be responsible for maintaining the study database.

Alongside the AEP Central Clinical Trials team the CTA will assist in the accurate implementation of the protocol to ensure complete data sets are acquired for each participant.

This role will assist in building rapport with other local clinical trials hubs for optimal experience for participants in the study.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for :

Complete 6 neuropsychological assessments of both epilepsy and control participants per week

The role attracts an annual salary range of $75139 $86313 (Professional Staff Level 5.15.8 commensurate with experience.
