Business Analyst – Banking / Finance / Payments (Core24 Focus)

Overview :

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with specialized experience in Core24 , banking systems , and payment processing . The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, playing a critical role in the development, optimization, and implementation of core banking and financial services platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Core24 and payment processing systems.
  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of product functionality and business needs.
  • Lead gap analysis and impact assessments for new initiatives or changes to the existing banking systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design efficient solutions in areas such as payments (ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS), core banking modules (accounts, loans, deposits), and compliance reporting.
  • Map and improve end-to-end payment workflows and financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., PSD2, AML, PCI-DSS).
  • Support UAT and SIT phases by developing test cases, coordinating testing efforts, and validating outcomes.
  • Monitor project milestones and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in data migration, process reengineering, and post-implementation reviews.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Core24 core banking systems is highly preferred .
  • Proven understanding of payment processing systems , including transaction lifecycles, reconciliation, and settlement processes.
  • Familiarity with APIs, ISO 20022 messaging, and integration across banking channels (e.g., mobile, online, ATM).
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and business process modeling.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with other core banking platforms (e.g., Temenos, Flexcube, Finacle).
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile (CSPO, Scrum Master).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based banking solutions or digital transformation initiatives.
