Thomas Oellerich focuses on uncovering oncogenic signaling pathways, regulators of tumor viability, and mechanisms of resistance to therapies, with a primary emphasis on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and aggressive lymphomas. The laboratory is part of the Frankfurt Cancer Institute (FCI) and the German Consortium for Translational Cancer Research (DKTK), supported by the research infrastructure of the University Hospital Frankfurt and the Georg-Speyer-Haus. Strategic collaborations with international institutions, including the NIH and the Dana-Farber Cancer Center, further enhance the lab's global impact. The lab is seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a project funded by the German Cancer Aid (Deutsche Krebshilfe). The role focuses on elucidating molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis and therapy resistance in AML. The candidate will develop multiplexed, high-throughput functional genomic screens to dissect the roles of oncogenic drivers and resistance pathways.
