• Development of new flavours in lines with customer projects and proactive projects
• Responsible for the assigned tasks regarding adherence to briefing guidelines considering specified costs, legislation and deadlines to be kept
• Matching of competitor’s flavours
• Optimizing and adjustment of existing flavours for various applications (Cigarettes, Shisha, Nicotine pouches, E-Liquid etc.)
• Evaluation and utilization of analytical results including chromatography & sensory analyses
• Evaluation and introduction of new raw materials
• Handling of projects in close cooperation with Application, Sensory, Marketing, Sales and other specific departments
• Support of Key Account Managers (customer visits inland and abroad)
• Support of production regarding the implementation of flavours from laboratory measure into production measure
• Ensure proper Data Management
• Solve Laboratory and Production issues as they may occur during development or manufacturing
• Flavour portfolio management
• Solve flavour performance issue in their applications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree of Science in Chemistry, Food Science/Food Technology or comparable education (e.g. certified Flavourist)
• Flavourist with more than 5 years of experience in the area of Tobacco Industry/Tobacco flavour creation
• Flavour creation experience in Tobacco Segment
• Excellent Tobacco market understanding
• Expert level knowledge: Flavour formulation and flavour processing
• Demonstrate expert-level tasting skills
• Knowledge of sensory analysis tools
• Fluent language skills in English and good level in German would be a plus
