Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Certified Accountant (IHK) to join the team in the dynamic energy sector. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, develop accounting strategies, and support our organization’s growth through accurate financial reporting and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual financial statements for external tax consultants.
  • Manage profit and loss statements and oversee financial data analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct monthly cost analysis and provide detailed financial reporting.
  • Lead and develop the accounting department.
  • Handle ongoing business transactions and manage company accounts.
  • Optimize accounting processes through ERP systems (SAP Business One).
  • Oversee the entire in-house accounting system to streamline processes and minimize reliance on external consultants.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Certified Accountant (IHK) with strong accounting expertise.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP Business One.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Native-level German proficiency.
  • Strong communication skills with an interest in process optimization.
  • Knowledge of SQL and DATEV certification are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tax law and compliance is a plus.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively, bringing creativity and flexibility to problem-solving.
