Summary Statement

Our Global IT is the central partner of the global Ottobock business - we see ourselves as an enabler and provide the entire portfolio of infrastructure and applications to make the business even more successful. At our company, you will play an integral role as an architect. You will help us facilitate digitization by managing technological complexity and planning ahead for the development of IT landscapes in the company.

The position can also be filled remotely within Germany.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for designing and continuously improving architecture methods, standards and processes
  • You translate the requirements of the business units in combination with technical-operational requirements of IT into target architectures
  • You build bridges between business and IT architectures
  • You coordinate cross-departmental roadmap planning
  • You advise the project teams and the company management on architecture issues
  • You are responsible for the development of technical innovation management
  • You maintain architecture data and oversee lifecycle management

Profile

  • You have a successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field of study
  • You have several years of experience in the area of enterprise architecture
  • You have comprehensive knowledge in the conception, documentation and visualization of complex technological contexts
  • You enjoy understanding abstraction as well as modeling different aspects of an enterprise
  • You have a very good understanding of business requirements combined with a broad technical understanding
  • You bring experience in piloting technical innovations
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team as well as very good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile
