Stellenbeschreibung

As Director Controlling you will be responsible for overseeing the financial controlling function ensuring effective financial planning analysis and reporting. You will play a key role in strategic decisionmaking optimizing financial performance and supporting senior management with datadriven insights. The role requires a strong leadership mindset analytical skills and the ability to drive efficiency across financial processes.

Typical areas of responsibility include :

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) : Oversee budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to support business decisions
  • Performance Monitoring : Analyze key financial KPIs profitability and cost structures to ensure financial health and efficiency
  • Strategic Decision Support : Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
  • Process Optimization : Improve controlling processes financial models and reporting structures for better efficiency and accuracy
  • Risk Management & Compliance : Ensure adherence to financial regulations corporate policies and internal controls
  • Leadership & Team Development : Lead and develop the controlling team fostering a highperformance culture
  • Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Accounting Operations and Strategy) to align financial goals with business objectives
  • Reporting & Presentations : Prepare financial reports dashboards and presentations for management and board meetings
  • Investment & Cost Control : Evaluate investment opportunities CAPEX projects and costsaving initiatives

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Finance Controlling Accounting Business Administration or a related field
  • 8 years of experience in financial controlling FP&A or a similar finance leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling SAP (or similar ERP systems) BI tools and Excel
  • Understanding of IFRS GAAP and other financial reporting standards
  • Proven track record in managing and developing teams
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills high integrity as well as curiousness
  • Business fluent in English and German
