Your tasks

• Performing analytical and numerical strength calculations of ships and their foundations
• Preparation of evidence in report form
• Verification of evidence from external service providers and suppliers
• Coordination of requirements with stakeholders from projects
• Management of document management and approval processes
• Clarification of interfaces with other specialist groups or departments
• Technical clarification, coordination and agreement with suppliers, testing authorities and customer representatives

Your profile

• Completed studies in naval architecture (Dipl.-Ing. or Master) with a focus on strength and design or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a calculation engineer and in shipbuilding
• Shipbuilding-specific IT/CAD skills, including experience with Hyperworks, Ansys, RFEM, Poseidon and Nauticus
• Solid user knowledge of the common MS Office programs
• English language skills, both spoken and written
• Conceptual and analytical thinking skills
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Independent working style
• Self-initiative and willingness to take responsibility
